Remember the modified Strosek front end with the huuuge air intake from the "fekking gorgeous" thread ?

Luke's working on it now and reckons they'll be ready to fit by the new year. He is gonna make a slight roll on the top of the intake though, to stop it looking like someone's just taken a hacksaw to it.

He's also about to roll out a new front headlamp cluster based on the originals, but with indicators built inside, and an HID option; so if you go for the new bumper you won't have to stick those ugly idicators inside it ;)

I'm first in the queue though

That was seen from a German site a few weeks ago.

Nice

Hmmm... I like, I like!!!

That is the dogs danglies...

Please give us a price ASAP...

Ben

I`ve never been much into body kits...but after seeing that...blimey...it`s made me think again. Would definately be interested.

No definite price yet, but Luke says cause it's based on the Strosek, but doesn't need any lights etc it should be about a hundred notes less than the Strosek, so probably about £340

Brings the Z right up to date eh ?

All that extra cooling's got to be a bonus too :)

I remember that first 'feeking gorgeous' thread. That front end is absolutely brilliant.

That is just a really nice design from an aesthetic point of view ..

Just brilliant ...

Mind you the large intercooler does help ... wonder what it would look like without that nice intercooler?

The lens cover will still be the same but there'll be three lights inside; one being an indicator. And it'll mean you can actually see when you've got dipped headlights on ;)

Bring it on ! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Just out of interest, Z1Motorsports.com in the USA will sell you this for $1000. That very pic is on their website.

Hmm.....now that's REALLY interesting !

The picture on that site is indeed the same photo, with the same cars in the background etc etc. However the bumper is a standard Strosek. That explains why the top of the air intake looks like it's hacksawed.........it's actually been modified in Paintshop Pro, or summat similar. The photo at the top of this thread is not of a real front spoiler; it's been edited.

Luke's, however, will be real; and will also have mesh to protect your radiator/intercoolers.

Maybe mine will be first one in the world, not just the first one in UK ;)

And $1000 ? Blimey - are they taking the mick ?

Add on import duty etc etc (I got stung for over £150 on my Stillen wing) that comes to about £750  For a standard Strosek.

Has it. On the site where I saw them first, there where 2 or 3 different cars with them on and they where not edited

Don't know about those others but check this one.....

Not that it matters a great deal because the spoiler is easily workable - not too much needed to mod a Strosek.

Does the $3000 include the whole wide arch kit ?

They can't seriously be asking that for just the front bumper

$3000 for the whole kit apparently. The guy I spoke to was very nice but did agree it was expensive.

He said the kit was a Paul Bailey copy manufactured by a company in the US called 'V12'. I've tried to find them but no luck. I'm in Florida next month so I'll ask in the performance / tuning shops.

Are we sure the nose is just digitally altered ?

It does look damn good - although as mentioned before by someone - the first speed bump and it's history.

Mark

Nice, but don't yeh think it as a look of a ...............

.........................................dare I say it.............

Would be nice to see more pic from differant angles though....

I wouldn't go that far - I've had Luke's ZC002B front spoiler on for the last three years and that's both deeper than this one and protrudes further from the front wheels as it doesn't curve backwards at the bottom. You have to take down-ramps in multi-storeys quite carefully but other than that it's always been fine; and Nottingham's speedramp city - they've even got them on some main roads now

Well here's some of the original pics I found just to confuse matters!

I think they all came from http://www.twinturbo.de originally.

I'd consider changing mine to one of these, very nice indeed!

but... they are definately Photoshopped.

Just look closely at the indicators and intercoolers that are just 2D images stuck on top!

Chris.

Rossy,

Have to agree with you there, it does look like a Fiat Coupe!!!, but I didn't dare suggest it for fear of the flack!!!:p
