This is getting to be a habit :D

When i bought the car it already had traction control fitted...great

It is a racelogic one, even better, i have all the installation instructions and setup disc etc but i dont know what the settings on the traction are?

I have spoken to racelogic and they say it cant be one of theirs because theirs only has 6 settings and had always looked like this

adjuster.jpg

now mine looks like this

Picture_003.jpg

and it has 10 settings

I know it works cos i had it on in the rain the other day and floored it and it sh*t me up when it cut out.

So does anyone know what it is or is it just an older racelogic model??

Thanks

Kirbz

just looks like someone has took the controler to bits and installed it in the console, just as I'm about to do.

RLTC has erm 5 settings and off. IIRC.

The older version only has one setting, so basically on (wet 0% slip) and off.

As the guy has obviously cut in an on/off switch, possibly he has used an another rotating switch, the fact that the know is the same means nothing, he could have bought the switch from maplins and used the RTLC knob.

Connect it up to your lap top and go into diagnostic, swich it on, then watch what happens when you turn the nob, IIRC it shows the percentage slip.

On an aside Race logic charge 118 quid for that switch and LED (about a tenner from maplins) but only charge 30 quid for the complete wiring loom. WTF??

Hope the above helps, if your still having probs , bell me 07812-586102, and i will look through the prog for you

hugh
