okay, i have edited the internet dns zone so that you can now get to www.300zx.co.uk just by typing 300zx.co.uk which means that the url is easier to use as a logo.

So, with that in mind, i thought something like this might be easy and straightforward to get done.

The Z logo that is used as the background image for these pages, overlayed with the url, in the same font style as the 300zx on the back of the car.

Hopefuly this ASCII art version will display okay for a quick idea, but i will try and make a proper one when i get home. (learn photoshop while i do it)

The pic at the bottom is of the back of Simon's car which shows text (which we should all know already)

     ZZZZZZZZZZZ

Also, i will be looking into getting some reflective 300zx.co.uk window stickers made that will fit into the quarterlight, like the ttnet ones do.

Speaking of the numberplate in that picture, it's made me think of a down side to stickers. If we are parking our cars in the same place all the time, the URL on the sticker will allow potential thieves to see the rides section and get and idea of all the goodies we've got (especially ICE which can be removed quite easily (in general)). Maybe everyone on the rides section should blank out their numberplates before submitting pictures?

Then again, maybe I'm just paranoid.......

i know what you mean Andy, and some of the pics are done like that.

Some people have sent pics like that already, and others i have done myself.

If anyone is concerned about their existing pics, or any other pics on the site, let me know and i'll do them.

I have some other ideas towards security, which i will be mentioning when the new format is ready to go.

BTW, in case anyones wondering why I'm not in the rides yet, its because I'm waiting for some free time and nice weather to get some pics. Also, I should be getting ADSL at home very soon which will mean I won't feel so guilty uploading huge pictures to the net all day ;-)
