Just got quote from local jap specialast garage of 3.2 hours @£38/h and £66 for the belt.

Does this seem reasonable & what else should i havr done at the same time?

Doesn't sound to bad Chris. Most people have the water pump changed at the same time as thay are known to fail and if it does it all has to come off again to change the pump.

I believe it's a 7-8 hour job for a cambelt.

Thanks boys.

looks like the quotes not far off then.

Yes i would love to use Jeff but its a bloody long way from me!

In fact everything is a bloody long way from me!

Chris - down deep south!

This is linked, as one advantage with Jeff is that as he literally next door to Drayton Manor theme park, you can drop car off and spend the day on the rides before take your ride home.:D

take the family, girlfriend etc. on the pretext of a day out and just say I know a place where I can park free and get the car serviced at the same time!

Also Jeffs price is VAT free and usually does all the drive belts.

He Knows Zeds and their delicate ways, and can do ConZult check tune up!

Duff did my cambelt, water bottle and it was a good price... :)

It was worth travelling to Lancashire for peace of mind.
