handbrake adjustment

hi all,

trying to do the handbrak eadjustment - what does the star wheel look like that I'm meant to turn?

 

any pics?

    does anyone know a good way to test the strength of each wheel - it failed its MOT on this and I dont want to turn up for it to fail again and have to stump up all over again!

    pull the handbrake to three click no more ,then try to pull away in first gear with a little revs, this work most time

    heh - mine must be kanckered then - it takes about 5-6 clicks - I cant adjust the cable anymore than it already is....
