Hi Mate,

Well it was 50 miles I had to take her. I phoned a few places and they wanted in the region of £300 - £350, But my mate put me in touch with someone and I got one for £135.

Oi you git! You can't deliver your car there yet! They aint allowed to do any more fuggin work until my car's done! I soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo want it back... it's driving me fackin NUTS!

 

On the plus side tho, now yours is there they'll be able to pinch bits off it to get mine up and running again ;)

I've slipped Bob a few quid to accidentially swap the engines over so your's should come out at about 400 bhp and mine will be a loverly 550 - 600 BHP :D.

I got a little penny racer of my own mate, but it's the graphite grey one :(. Still I can always play around with Cerina's NA which now we have figured out how to set up the AFR, goes like stink.

You can have mine at the moment... with it's 5 forged pistons and one gaping hole! At the moment I'd even be happy running your lump with a measly 400 bhp... it's gotta be better than driving this soddin Mondeo. OMG am I starting to sound like a bhp snob?! :eek:

The problem was Spark was there fuel and pressure were there, Air was there but the compression wasn't.

 

I think the inlet valves were so far gone they jsut couldn;t create enough of a seal when cold to get the car started.

Still, once I get back I'm gonna treat her real good and never abuse her again .... yeah like **** :D :D

just out of interest stu , what sort of mileage has your motor done to lose compression

Yep, mine's in there too. Waiting on some connectors to arrive from the US at the moment, then I can get her back. :) Hopefully this weekend...maybe... :D

I'm from the Chadwell Heath Mental hospital, which is between Romford and Ilford (It's kinda East London but is classed as Essex).

 

Ajay, I was going to drop some connectors off on Saturday (both injectors and Coil pack). Did you know they charge £200 to fit these :eek:. I'm tempted to take em there and wire them in myself :D.

I have a feeling that they may want to use mine for someone elses car, so I'm going to write my initials on them with permanet marker LMAO !!!.

 

John-boy, I'm getting a little p|ssed off with a certain interior company now. I was told that I would have it on the 18th August (this is after two months wait). I was then told that it is stuck at customs and have been there for two weeks. I paid by credit card and I'm thinking of telling him to stick it and claim my money back. The thing is that they have had over £750 from me for about 3 months now. I'm getting to the point where I will be cancelling and getting my money back.
