Attacked it with the angle grinder today and fitted the tailgate skin.

Theres no going back now :D:D wide arse here i come.

Paul - how much work was involved? Am thinking of taking the one off my black Zed and replacing it with the one from the red one.

 

Are they easy to detach?

Might look for an aftermarket one, if I can find one that's still relatively subtle. :)

The stock spoiler has a metal plate running through it and can be bent very easily when taking it off because they usually have a good hold. You might be better swapping the whole tailgate and getting it painted if its ok.

=nods= That's pretty much what Iain said too. :)

 

The old tailgate is in immacjulate condition, so might well just swap it over, unless I find a decent aftermarket spoiler.
