300zx Wheel Sizes

Hi All

I am thinking of doing a 5 stud conversion on my S13 200sx and fit some standard Z32 wheels. My question is what are the different types of standard alloys? (Pics would be great) :) Also what are the sizes of the wheel i.e. 225x50x16.

Also I have heard that this can change from UK to Jap spec is that true?

Thanks for all your help

Dan.

Hiya Dan,

yeah there is a difference between stock UK and J-spec wheels.

Jap spec are 7.5x16 all-round with 225/50/16.

UK Spec have 7.5x16 up front with 225/50/16 and on the rear is 8.5x16 with 245/45/16

good luck

Dave

UK wheels seem to be a good size then. Expensive tyres though

Are they the same styling as the jap spec ones?

Dan

Yes Dan, they are identical, apart from the wider rears.

Dave

Dan,

you can keep your tyre costs down using MyTyres, which I've found to be pretty damn cheap. Less than £100 per corner (I have a UK TT).

There's lots of debate about the best tyres - I use the Toyo Proxes T1-S. So far so good, but it's not winter yet!

Russ.
