Front Fogs?

The best way really if you can afford it, is to buy Japanese Z foglights and side lights and use them. Japanese fog lights go where the UK side light and indicators are. The lights on the side on a UK Z are false where Japanese ones use them for side and indicators. The easiest and best looking way is to install a Japanese light setup.

I converted the 2 inside brake lights to fogs, use a switch and a relay, when not switched on then they work as brake lights, switch them on and hey presto instant fogs without having anything hanging below the bumper( but ugly install if you want my opinion)

Pete, where did you get this done?

I need to fit fogs at the rear of my 91 import, and this sounds like the tidiest solution by far.

:)

I did it myself, however I can't take all the credit. I modified a circuit I found on the web, but it works just as well, I used a standard single pole change over relay and a touch sensative switch with an illumanated ring around the outside, I must admit I'm quite chuffed with how it's turned out, if you're at chester on saturday I'll show you.

Are we talking front or rear foglights here, if yours is an import then sureley it has front fogs:confused:

As for the rear ones mine used to have the inner brakelight conversion, but i wanted all 5 brakelights to work at the back, so i unwired the old set up and fitted a high level brake light under the rear bumper, its a dirt cheap way of doing it and it folds away under the rear bumper untill mot time!!!

Heres a pic.

all 5 brake lights still work as brake lights, except in fog, then I already have 2 on so 3 work off the brake pedal.
