I have recently purchased a Import 91 TT Auto. I must say that I did rush into the purchase and think I have a sub standard car.

 

Does anybody live in the Kent area that has a good knowledge of the TT and would be willing to give me a hand in loacting problem areas. Obviously I will cross your palm with Gold (well maybe not gold but you get the picture).

 

The guy who sold it to me has said the Cambelt has been done in the last 200 miles. And I have purchased new Air, Fuel, Oil filter's and new spark plugs all ready for fitting.

Give GDA a call 01892 740006. They're located in Fordcombe so not too far away from Maidstone. They did cambelts etc on mine and i know certain motoring magazines use them as well.

Hi Kia,

Well the bits you have bought are very easy to fit an I would recommend doing the service yourself.

This way you get to know the car and how various bits of it work, also saves you a fortune.

 

It always helps if someone is there for guidance as you go along. The servicing you want to do is pretty basic stuff - Oil & filter change, air filter, fuel filter, new pulgs should only take you about 2 hours max.

 

If you want I could give you a hand and also run a diag for you. This way if you have any problems we can sort them as we go along.

I love tinkering with cars so doing the service myself will be rewarding.
