No I'm not selling the Z!

But I am thinking about importing a '98 R34 GT-T. It would cost about £10.5k on my drive. Any comments gratefully received.

Does anyone know if it can be easily (cheaply!) tweaked and by whom? Anyone have one? Anyone got any performance data?

Thanks for the advice Mike. I've had a look at the site you gave me. loads of good info. I think I'll move forward on this.

My mate has just bought one, sold his 3000gt for it. Only his iopinion but he fooking hates it. He reckons it skips, even with traction control on, at the strangest times, not in a predictable fashion either.

i drove it, didnt like it much, too refined for my taste, didnt feel like i was "driving" it ( make sense?)

I looked into buying one of these. TBH my real intention was to tune it and change the front end. In other words I wanted a 34GTR but couldnt afford it! 2.5 Turbo RWD, so yes you can tune them to produce high BHP but it aint no GTR :D

Tuning parts are not that easy to get hold off and as such incur a hefty premium. Then u need to change brakes, suspension etc etc. to handle it. The stock wont, think Z brakes but worse and your about right. I'd still be a wannabe R and probably would have spent enough to buy a real one.

Then again I've purchased a Supra so I'm obviously bonkers :D
