Hallo All,

I'm thinking about getting my wheels fettled. Yes, they are stock alloys and no, I'm not interested in aftermarkets.

I have looked at loads of places that refurb alloy wheels but they all appear to offer powder coating only. Now I know this can look really nice and shiny (eg Andy P's) but I am not after that look.

What I am after is the same look as when they rolled out of the factory: alloy colour with a slight surface grain to it.

Does any one know a place that can do this or is powder coating my only option?

TIA - Gio

Thanks Hugh - I just gave 'em a call. They said £65 + VAT per wheel which sounds a little steep to me.

If you get yours done, I'd be interested in your opinion on the results.

Cheers - Gio

Hi Gio, I can get Lepsons in Medway to do them for £35 per wheel if your interested.

i'll check on the grain pattern on the surface if you want me to, but dont think it would be a problem TBH

Paul - thanks, might well be interested. What finish do they end up with?

Cheers - Gio

well, most of the wheels we send are smooth, they repair any dents/scuffs & paint the wheels.

not sent any stock zed wheels before so i'll ask them if the finish is a problem if you want me to
