I got a couple of Autometer gauges through the post today; a boost gauge and an oil pressure gauge - both are mechanical.

I was wondering if anyone had any installation tips for these?

Cool - once you've done these you can install mine aswell;)

He's a good lad that Dave!

Boost gauge install here:

Dunno whether the Autometer feed will directly fit

on the existing sender; you might need 'T' or other

adaptor.

Unless you drain the oil out, have someone handy

to hand you parts/put their finger over the hole

while you fiddle about.

The other tip would be to get someone else to do it...

Dave I have both and fitted them myself, the boost is a doddle the oil is a PITA:(you need to buy some braided fuel hose to fit the nylon pipe inside as the pick up is not too far away from the OS turbo housing, bring them with you on Sunday as you also need to have the sender converted to a metric thread,Autometer is American and they use NPT:rolleyes:
