Hi,

I think there has been some kind of short out with my electrics. My main beam is on all the time as soon as I switch on the lights. The dipped lights are not on, can you help? Thanks:(

Mine did this in the middle of an MOT test

It turned out to be a fuse. The fuse box is in the side panel beside the throttle pedal incase you dont know.

Mine done the same, except it was the fuse in the relay box in engine bay passenger side, it tells you on top of the lid which fuse is lights, whip it out and change, should then be sorted, that's if Paul's idea don't work :D

smithy

Thanks guys,

I have checked the fuses in the relay box, no problems. Could it be one of the big blue relay fuses? If I do need to change a fuse in the drivers panel do you know which one it seems very akward and mine is in Japanese. I have checked the translated diagram but I am not sure which one to check. Thanks again for your help.

I just tend to pull the fuses one by one with a pair of pliers till i find one thats blown :D

Paul

Cheers Paul and Smithy that did the trick. Located the blown fuse in the driver pedal panel. Typical it was the last one I pulled out after checking all the other. :D

If it had been the first fuse you wouldn't have pulled the rest would you????  :p :p :D
