PCV valves are Positive Crankcase Ventilation valves, & as the name suggests, they are there to release pressure in the crankcase. over time they can get blocked up or the springs can become weak.

there are 2 of these & they are located on either side of the plenum, towards the rear.

the breather hoses are at the front, & have a restrictor & flame trap, again which can get blocked over time.

HTH :)

Cheers much apprieciated.... whats the plenum ???...lol
