Before you switch onto the new rubber you can have great fun donutting the old 'uns to death and getting all on tape for prosperity :p

Not a bad thought but I'm not sure if I want all that scress being put on the box, diff and D/shaft.

Maybe just a couple though!

:D :D :D :D :D

I had tyres made by a company I never knew existed on my Z when I picked her up, they still had half the tread left on them and seemed ok in the dry, and typically I didn't get a chance to drive it in the wet until 3 or 4 weeks later, but boy when I did I crapped myself and drove home at about 20mph after getting caught out in a light drizzle one evening, next day went out and got 4 x Bridgestone SO3's and wow what a difference....

The only good thing with the dodgy tyres is where they don't grip so well I wouldn't imagine it would put too much stress on the car to have a put of fun ;) - it's certainly the only time I'd ever considered doing donuts!!!

Finally got the prices for the Razors.

18" with Toyos £1000

18" with Gy £1270

However, a spacer kit is needed with these so I'm not altogether comfortable with going for these.

Lee - You managed to get prices?

COS, i may have found myself a second hand set for£700 with tyres. i have to go and have a look in morning. all 4 have been refurbed in black chrome and the sizes i want too. but dont rule me out of this group buy just yet. the price for razors is good. why do you need spacers? are they only 8" wheels? i have to have 10" on back as im having wide arch conversion.

cheers ...lee

The spacer kit is needed because the offset is not right. However, if you want 10" on the back, the 309s are the way to go.

Went to the shop again today, and he had a second hand set of Fox Racing RS alloys in with 235s on the 255 on the back. Only prob is that the rubber is made by Hankook but it is the Ventus range. I dont know much about this range but I'm led to believe that it is one of the best that Hankook do. I dont have any experience in them but given the choice I would stick to what we know.

However, the wheels are quite nice actually. 18" with a polished dish and he wants £850 for the set. The alloys and tyres have only covered 120 miles apparently and they are all immaculate. I am going down there tomorrow to take a pic just incase anyone here is interested.

They were on a ZX before it was sold but the buyer didn't want to pay extra for them so he drove away with the stock rims.

I personally don't think that they are too bad but I want some brand spankers for mine.

Hi Guys

mb italia Molini 18"s

309.jpg

£1400 with hankooks add£100 for toyos

All the above alloys are with wider rear wheels apparantly there are not many alloys now which make larger rears.

If any ones interested please let me know

Also full stainless powerflow exhaust £350-400 depending on what you want at the end!

These are not bulk prices so if one of you wants them dont worry about it.

Cheers all

Kirbz

It all depends on how much i can get for the alloys that are on it at the moment, before i buy some others.

If only money was no object :)

Hi Glen

I havnt picked up my new zed yet!!

I was meant to pick it up a couple of weeks ago but i had a death in the family but i should be picking it up tomorrow.

I dont know if i am selling them just yet, it all depends on if i can afford the extra to go up to 19's

But if i do then i am open to offers.

To answer your questions yes they will go straight on, my new zed's bodywork is standard.

If you want to see them check out my homepage below, its not a great pic and i will take some better ones on saturday but it will give you an idea of them

Cheers

Kirbz

Cheers
