misfire

anyone help, my problem is the engine on idle is misfiring

i put new sparkplugs in and it ran fine for a weeks running

but as gone back to misfire again. it does not have the problem when driving. cheers

    Your best bet would be to get it to a workshop with a Gas analyser who can tell you fairly quickly what kind of misfire you have, ie lean, ignition etc. Should take aout 10 minutes to do and shouldn't cost much. If you can get a print out or right down the readings post them up and we can try and help you.

    Try checking the coilpacks are on tightly. Mine did the same and as most of the connectors break, they have a tendancy to work loose.
