Help!!

Got a diagnostic check on my zed this morning and it came back saying "the following item needs attention..." knock sensors.That's it!! what the f@@k are these? can anyone tell me what they are and how much they are likely to cost?

Do a search on det sensor and you'll see there's been loads about this (just recently in fact).

Means you'll be in 'safety boost' (7psi instead of 9psi, and retarded ignition timing).

Would this fault also contribute to my car jolting like buggery when it's warmed up?:( :(

wouldn't say so, as Aaaron said it puts you in safety boost.
