OK here goes opening a huuuge can of worms

 

I'm after a Zed, and have the chance at an Auto that's a steal at the price..

 

I've driven Auto's before - but they were Rover 620, 623 and a Nissan Bluebird 1.8GS (which was a bit dodgy ).. Other than that, it's always been manuals for me..

 

What's peoples opinion in the Auto box in the Zed? (a 1990 Z).. Am I gonna get bored when I go down the twisties? Does it suffer from lag particularily?

 

And one other thing - I have a tendency to mod my cars What kind of HP will the Auto box take before it explodes into a million little pieces?

...I sold it, partly for a good reason...To get a Turbo Manual! I am in no rush, just waiting for the right car, at the right price!At least I drove my NA for a year!

Wouldn't fancy taking a stock Auto import up the drag strip at Trax too much though!A clutch is cheaper than a new auto box.
