In keeping with the whole dock-hanger-abouterer theme of my recent posts, I would like to say i have cured my knob problem but now have a question about my ring!!

Yup the scratched Razo gearknob is going to be replaced, but here is my question:

My blow off (oooerr) valves are very quiet, is it possible to replace something inside them to get a bigger swiiissshhh noise as I like scaring old ladies on the way to the post office??

I believe the sound/volume of a BOV is largely governed by the velocity of the air exiting the BOV..

 

Basically, three ways to make it louder,

 

Open the piston/diaphram further & faster (increases exiting air volume)

Make the exit holes smaller (increases exiting air velocity)

Turn the boost up (more air to exit!)

 

The last one is by far the most fun... Lol

Just eat more cabbage, baked beans, Ruby Murray's, Exlax...whole bottle should increase the air velocity exiting your ring mate...

 

Clenching cheeks tightly together, hold it...holt it...not yet...NOW! In the words of the one and only Liam: "Go leeetttt iitttt oouuuuutttttt...go leett iitttt iiiiinnnnnn!"

 

 

Alternatively, swap out the Batmobile's capable Bat cape and utility belt for a Captain Methane pair of tights and cape...then practice getting "how much is that doggy in the window?" out through your ring at highest velocity possible...that will scare kids, nevermind old grannies off to the post office with their pension books!
