theres an adjustment at the pedal, but being hydraulic it should be largley self adjusting.

you might be able to tweak it a little tho

There was a big thread on this a while back because I had a similar issue - the adjustment is quite easy to do but, you need to have the body of a lemming, the hands of a midget and Sport Billy tools.

Let me see if I can find the thread.

Here it is -

However, bear in mind that if you adjust it too much, your Cruise control may become very sensitive because the clutch pedal is not returning as far as it should be. remember to loosen it off when you get the clutch repaired.

Also, try not to leave it too long before you get your clutch done because you could cause damage to your fly wheel.

Cheers

Also just set up the idle as it was running a little low, around 600 Jeff reckons should be more like 800-850,i've adjusted the idle screw, turned it off for 10 seconds to let the ECU re-set it self, seems to be ok although someone said to take off the connector to the ECu first????

Yes 800- 850 is right but before you start messing with your idle, make sure that the TPS is at the correct voltage because that can effect your tick over. Get that right first then the idle.

Poblems with getting to your lights? don't what your talking about, there should be loads of room there! .....Yeah Right. Yes, not any easy job but just try and make as much space as you can you should be ok. If you have problems trying to get a bulb out because its wedged in some how, just use a small screw driver and push it back in to place before trying to remove it again.

Similarly, when putting the bulbs for the driving lights back in, make sure they are sat square otherwise the beam will be going in the wrong direction. Oooh - actually that reminds me:-

MACCA, your passenger side driving like is dimmer than the drivers side. Not sure if it is a less powerful bulb. If not its probably not sitting correctly in its holder.

I have had planty of experience with removing and replacing the bulbs so I know that it does get easier.

Mail or PM me if you have any problems.

dont mean to butt in one this thread but I have to ask cos....did you have your head light vacum metalized to get the chrome finish.

i don't know exactly how it's done but i do know that my supplier are one of the very few companies in the UK to produce this finish as everywhere they have been, they have been told that it can not be done.

Also, thier chrome finish will actually be better than OE headlights because they put a special finish over the chrome that is as hard as a normal painted bodypanel.

Am waiting for the sample to arrive.

I know of a company here in canada that will do this for me but they said the chrome finish MIGHT be affected by the heat generated by the lights they said the chrome might peel because of it. The company makes trophies, basicaly the chrome plate plastic.

If its the same quality as what is used on part of our head lights, it should be ok. However, this place that I have found will put an extra coating so that it is just like a normal painted panel. You can even polish it it you like.

Still hasn't arrived but will let you know when it does.
