What's the longest that you've been without yer Z then? Reason for me asking is that I'm taking alot of flack at the moment for mine being MIA for so long. But some of us have had considerably long spells without their monster!

 

I know Warrens car was off the road in Spaghetti land after crapping out on him big time outside a PizzaHutta...mamma mia!

Week and a half when my autobox bit the dust. Was a right bloody inconvenience, it was one of those times when I had to go to work everyday too. Had to use the Missus' car which left her stuck in the house. (Our local bus service is not what it could be - The bus is on Thursday and returns about 6 hours later. It's actually a bloody funny timetable, just sort of blank really. I was considering taking a pic of it and sending it to John Prescott, to indicate why people don't use public transport !)

Well mine was off the road from september until march this year, but bear in mind i only gave them the go ahead to fix the car in november, and then most of italy goeas on holiday from the 6th of december, and then every afternoon is siesta time, and we had a problem with some parts from courtesy , they sent the wrong ones and then when they arrived in customs nissan was not told until the 29th of december that they had arrived, by which time they were back in america lol, MAN WHY I EVEN GO TO ITALY IS BEYOND ME, Now im all pissed off again, per i fucks, i bastardi italiani del tose di causa sono un mazzo di cunts e possono essere orinati sopra dal diavolo egli stesso , and that is how i feel, but man i recon petes taking the piss wioth you, ive seen this all to often with car,s i mean i have had in my time, two engine rebuilds, (one on this car, and one on a mitsubishi evo) and both times ive been stuffed over.

A week when my mum and dad took my car on holiday cos thier broke down. The longest week of my life. I dont have a day driver.

for about 8 weeks (on and off) while a shitty, wanky garage tried to do a simple spray job and kept telling me I was being too fussy. I'm not looking forward to my car going in for a re-spray this time, cos that'll be 10-14 more days without by beloved Z!!!

The time in between getting shot of my original shed of dread zed and buying my nice new shiny Batmobile was hmm 8 weeks I reckon.

During this time I wore out the Autotrader website looking for zeds and plodded around in the Flintstone-GTI.

I reckon you must be some sort of Zed Buddist opium smoker to have waited this long Tim, my nuts would have gone square and festered at the edges by now!!!

Warren, there is some truth in what Mr. Senna just pointed out! In the money that I am saving in extortionate petroleum prices, road tax, insurance etc. I am onto a winner.

 

I am accumulating so much stuff in terms of mods for the car that by the time I get her back she'll be sweet.

 

Just ordered a scrolling message board off Boysstuff! This should be a right laugh, put it in the back window of your car and then you can send messages to the surrounding motorist(s) e.g. WANKER!!! If they pull out on you whilst hurtling down the outside lane of the motorway, just push a button and he'll get the message, don't bother with all this fist waving, just means more time with only one hand on the round wheel whilst doing 145+

 

Another application is...when you are stuck in traffic and there's some really fit chick in a VW Golf sat behind you! You can give her your mobile number...coz you know she wants it! LOL!

 

1000 and 1 uses for this gadget...excellent...so that will go in my spare room along with all the other crap that I'm collecting for my car

In the year 3001 your car will have been at SE exactly 1440000 hours.

By my calculation this means you will have saved uk£1440000/24*lots of trips to the garage for fuel.

This will equate (given inflation) to approx 9/10th's of the entire planets net worth.

Of course SE and your Z will no longer be around in 3001, so if you can manage to stay alive for the next willenium, Tim my boy, you can be in control of the entire planet.

Something to codgetate upon when you are down in the dumps about your car.

Blackpool is a beckoning, not just a Zed pissup, family do aswell. Loads for the sprogs to do there, we can just load all the little people onto the BIG ONE!! They'll be alright...send 'em up with a packed lunch like those Cubs did on Jim'll Fix It! Do you remember that, that was top dollar, trying to eat cream cakes and drink fresh orange juice out of plastic bottles whilst doing +/- 3G on a Boomerang Rollercoaster!
