how can i tell wether my engine coolant sensor is working? im still investigating my safety boost.

    Last weekend I replaced mine (12 quid) because when you wigled it the electric fans came on.

     

    you can test it with a multimeter I carnt remember what the reading are supposed to be, there on andy p's website (click on links above). and i belive that if there knackerd they make the engine idle lumpey??
