Firstly before anybody quibbles with me I posted my £20 on Monday and expect to be a paid up member A.S.A.P.

The point has already been made quite eloquently by many that the value of information alone is worth a poxy £20. For people like me that live out in the sticks with all the hairy backs, it's vital. We all know that most garages are clueless when it comes to looking after these machines properly. Eg some insist you gotta take the lump out to change the Turbo's others say Gearbox. One way means 9 out of 10 times new wirring loom is required (Which incidently means more dosh for the garage and an horrendous bill). Some say you can do this and that to get more power others disagree.

What I'm aiming at is that if we have a one mark club, info should be pooled. That means no holding back so you might have the edge come a track day. Keeping the mark going and having fun is the whole point surely. We work to help ourselves have more fun and less days in the garage or crawling to our wives and bank managers.

I have some ideas myself as follows

1) That we sort out club approved garages and support them, but have agreed methods of doing jobs thus keeping cost to a minimum. 2) We have a car grading system and valuation program for club owned cars. 3) A club car data base so history is recorded. This will add value to our cars and bring insurance cost down. 4) We know the cars and there short falls. so any idea to improve should be put forward and if we get enough takers we can get stuf made. ie the light kits (which although a good idea I think has been waisted energy because Luke is making his own and I'm also in the process of importing proper HID convertion Kit's for about £200) If the three of us had got together in the first place we'd have the best of all three at the best price. Ive a list of practical ideas to reduce repair cost but we have to be on board and pool ideas so we don't have us all spending money in different directions. Then we'll have more dosh, more time and better reliability to enjoy those social gatherings. I'm all for it and if it works I'd pay £50 a year. P.S. Will somebody help AdamR get his motor sorted so he don't sell it. PPS Adam I think Dave at dp has lost his enthusiasum for our Z's mate.

I owned a Corvette for several years, veeerrryyy pretty motor, good insurance, reasonable service costs, one battery, one altenator replaced during ownership, no problem!Kudos, yes!Fast, 5.7Ltrs of growling v8 etc etc etc, Why do I now own A ZTT?Weelll-----------------

I joined back in November first as a registered user and soon after as a subscribed member.

This site has been very informative, invaluable to me, but most of all fun to read about peoples ups and downs with their Z's.

I personally have met some fantastic people who have helped me tremendously, MickyB, and Cos last weekend, all very helpful and interesting people.

Long may this site continue, it's by far the best I have experienced for enthusiasts!!

My vote for YES will be registered!!!!
