Has anyone changed there clocks here?

i sit a big job to change the speedo and all that, i want to fit new faces and was wondering

    Getting the speedo-cluster out is no problem.

    But fitting new faces seems to be very tricky.

    I heard from several people they ruined one or more gauges, because they just pulled the needles out..(along with it's little axle)

    This needs to be done very carefully, since the axles of the needle should not be removed..just the needles
