Hello Jim,

As you may have been told, the stock boost gauge is crap. I know my car is running at 7psi but my gauge shows nearly 12:confused: The only accurate way to know what boost you're at, is to fit an aftermarket boost gauge. I tried to get in the habit of doing an ecu check once a month (1 minute job).

thanks for the replie mate I think a whole new aray of gauges are in order for the zed

thanks

Jim

Yes, I've got to fit some new guages myself soon, but I can't decide how I want them. I'd really like a bigger boost guage fitted just to one side on the binnacle over the steering wheel.

I'm really not sure about the look of the A pillar pods - a bit too Fast and Furioous for me!

Any one got any advice or suggestions?

MMmm I know what you mean mate, but i dont think us zed owners have alot of choice, i did this of cutting them into the dash just above the glove box, but this is'nt in our line of sight.

and we all know there is 'nt much time to look away when holding the seat of your pants with youre bottom!

That's why I thought it would be good above the steering wheel, just offset to the right. Perfect position to see it without looking away from the direction of travel.

Surely someone has done it - I keep seeing all sorts of other cars with extra dials fitted everywhere - why do we have to have ours climbing the roof!?

Thanks Vijay- these are not a bad idea, but I really wanted to put one on top of the binnacle. I think I'll have to mock it up in photoshop to see if anyone can make it!

Yep - thats a bit more like it I suppose, but sadly I have a lovely red laether trimmed binnacle on my motor so I wouldn't want to lose that - and the price seems a little steep!

...and where do you find all these sites Vijay??

(is there a set of links somewhere that I've missed??)

Hello Nigel,

I've just found these sites over the years.........................
