I bought on my way home from Western-Super-Mare a PS2 GT3 Box set...

 

....Wooohooooo....

 

And now I fear I am addicted.....

 

Me and my Yaris 1.5J (now at 197 bhp) are tearing up the tracks big time.....

 

And hints and tips for a new guy to GT3?

Wah hey, Matty is all PS2'd up! Yeahhhhh!

 

So my friend, you have taken the "Way of the Yaris" route also...ha haaaaa!

 

Starting in Beginner Gran Turismo mode, win the weekend cup races to win a shitty Toyota Corolla GT(although they call it by its Jap. name!) then move onto the GT Cup I think it is. You need to get the licenses matey, which ones have you got at this moment in time?

 

First couple are pretty mild, but the Pro licenses are a right mare! Especially the Corvette going round a mini roundabout in the wet...nastey! Satanic!

 

So you're chuffed with it then? DVD quality is good aswell.

I have got me B license won gold cups in the beginner races (Club man, Sunday cup is it? and the FF races) now I have the crap Jap and the MX-5 (green, yuck!) and my 197bhp Yaris with it's Black alloys.....sweet!!

 

I am not looking forward to trying the other exams, Anyone got any cheats...

Don't sell the MX-5 runner bean like wot I did! Keep it, you need it later on for the convertible cups according to Mr. Nico saan!

 

Get yer oil changed, take the Yaris to the carwash and put some bollox wheels on! LOL! Or have you done the wheels? I've changed mine twice now(sad git!)...

 

 

It's alright for those of us that work from home and can play on PS2 all day MATTLEY!

I have some superb Black alloys with gold lettering round the edge (can't think who I bought them off) they look superb on the Yaris 1.5J - 197bhp....

 

I have kept the MX-5, I don't like it (hairdresser motor) but I have put some bad ass alloys on it and washed it.....makes no difference it just looks like a hairdressers car with better wheels and cleaner!!

 

Can't wait to purchase a Z....(dribbles)

 

Work from home? Is that what you call it...I have only left the PS2 to post on here and check my mail....everything else can wait!!

STILL that far back???

 

best way I found was to get a beetle and do the beetle cup - it'll need a few mods to win!!! Do each race in the beatle cup individually and then as a league (loadsa money )

 

This is the route I took and I've now got a 1200bhp Dodge Viper, a 1000bhp Skyline, a 1000bhp Zed...... Who wants to copy my memory card then??? :P
