Had a shot in Leigh (Friday)'s zed yesterday with a single outlet jap exhaust.

Must say I was amazed at the difference in sound over a dual exit, much much nicer. Sounds more like the sort of straight 6 sound from a supra or skyline, more sporty altogether.

Going to have to see if I can get one when I get another car.

Where or how do you come out to a single box. Is it just simply finding a suitable 'Y' pipe after the cats and continuing to the back in one large pipe or can it be done nearer the back box??:confused:

Is there anywhere that sells this conversion?

Well, HKS do two different replacement cat-back systems with single outlet, the HyperMuffler and the SuperDrager ...

 

I know, 'cos I ended up with one arriving by mistake, when in actual fact it was the dual outlet Legal Muffler, I wanted .. Doh!

 

GPS do all three of these 'zorsts ... just make sure you order the one you *actually* want ;)

From a quick look underneath, the two pipes from the back of the cats join into a single very large one then go to the back box.

Before I say anything else, a huge ta very much to John for sortin my Z out yesterday...bloody hell mate, she goes like sh1t off a shovel now! :D

 

Like I said in my text, I`ll get the car up on stands (might be able to do it late this afternoon actually...), take some pics of the system and email `em to you!
