Hello,

 

My zed has been up and running over the past week new clutch and flywheel and is running well.

 

Well apart from when I turn the inginition barrell and remove the key the engine keeps running.

 

Yes I have a turbo timer but when it switches off the electrics all die but the engine is still running ?

 

Any ideas appreciated ?

This happened to mine when I had a 4 way switchable ECU hooked up - electrics turned off but ignition still running. Putting mine back in sorted out the problem.

 

First thing then would be to check your ECU, see if it's standard, earthed, etc.

That's easy for you to say!

Shouldn't be too hard to find the duff component in these hopefully.

Need to look for the pin that supplies power to coil packs etc (possibly via relay) and the rest of the ECU then see if anything's gone short.

Might have a look at mine but don't have too much motivation at the minute.

Has anyone posted on TT net to see if it's a known problem?

Did ask Devin (off ZtechZ) but he'd never heard of it.

took the wood of the floor unplugged and plugged loads I mead loads of connectors (Turbo Timer,HKS BLow Off bits) Then Her who must be obeyed says yer teas ready !.
