Will I get banned if I go back into the Shitcroft thread and tear the ahse out of some of the people posting there?

 

I ask because I like this site and I don't really want to get banned... hence my rather reserved conduct in there and my early pull out... but, if I have your word that I won't get banned then I cheerfully return and really let rip... the bandwidth usage will explode, there will be casualties and your membership will increase...

 

Everyone wants a pop at me it seems and I love a good arguement...

 

So, am I to be let off the chain or tehtered?

From my point of view you would need to subscribe and then you could do what you wanted in fight club.

As far as I'm concerned, if you want to rip 7 bells out of people then pay your £20 and we can move it to Fight Club.

 

Don't use the threat of being banned as your excuse for leaving the thread.

 

However I personally don't think that General Chat needs a 40+page thread of You V 300ZX.co.uk.

 

It would be never ending as it's in human nature to fight back and yours to wind people up.

 

Carry on, by all means but if it does get out of hand then, like everything else, it will get deleted / moved. You have no special privileges...

I don't want special privileges... I just don't want to get banned as I only see this as a bit of fun... you can certainly edit me after the event... but what I have experienced is when I get the upper hand people just end up contacting you demanding you ban me... usually those who 'fall by the wayside' are the first to hassle you...

 

You know how restrained I was on the scooby-net and still got banned...

Fair enough. It does indeed usually start off as a bit of fun. Trouble with you, though, is that you don't know when to stop.

 

Having us potentially ban you sounds to me like a handy excuse to stop as the reaction that you have on here is nowhere near as vitriolic as on ScoobyNet.

Personaly I don't think you are in any trouble of getting banned atm, but taking it to a level that means it has to be moved to fightclub and persistantly breaking the "rules" could mean that you end up getting banned.

 

If you want to "play" with the bigboys properly then send of a £20 note to andyp/craig and get access to the fight club, it needs a bit of brightening up in there.

Isn't that worth 20 quid of anyone's money? Surely, if you have this affinity for the site, you'd like to make a donation towards its future security?

 

After all, cough up the 20 quid and you needn't worry about being banned, flought the rules on an open forum and you're at the mercy of the mods - Correct me if I'm wrong, Moderators, but Fight Club is unmoderated, precisely for this reason, isn't it?

 

Mike's right - it doesn't really get enough serious usage at the mo. Personally, I'm intrigued to see how a verbal assault could possibly be so terrible.

Mycroft - winding people up, insulting them and pissing them off is one thing. Telling blatant lies about specific people is something you really should be careful about.

 

1) Much as I'm sure it boosts your ego to think so, IIRC SDB didn't "follow" you to the GTR, there was a link from a scoobynet thread asking him to comment on the subject. That is the only thread that I know of he has replied to of yours since you were banned.

 

2) I have not set up any hate sites nor sent hate-mail to you. If you believe that I have, please feel free to show some proof of a) that such emails/sites exist and b) why you think its me. Obviously that would mean that you know who I am, which of course you don't. Can anyone smell bullshit? :p

 

3) You have never humiliated me other than in your own eyes, if you think you have then feel free to post a link to enable others to judge. I'm guessing that you're using the Mycroft-English version of "humiliated", which means - "got insulted by on a forum then left or got banned". :D
