Hi,

Well to tell you the truth, since I put on the alloys etc I've started to get worried about my (our) ZX doing the shopping etc. so the other day I said to the wife: Do you want your own car and what car do you want, maybe a 200SX, Honda CRX, or MX5? So we went car hunting on Sunday. Lo and behold there's some Supras there. Well she does know her cars and loves speed (no not the weed). So she said: What I really want is a Supra! Well I said are you sure. Yes she said.

 

So I did my research went on the Supra forum etc. Looked in Auto Trader and saw that AKC of Herts had a nice one at the right price (my ZX came from him). So off we went to AKC on Monday looked around and she settled on a black Supra TT, Auto. Just freshly imported from Japan, good condition and low milage. Deposit paid and now waiting for some stuff to be done on it and hopefully she'll have it Thurs week!

 

So it's going to be really interesting a ZX verses a Supra in one family. The thing is we'll be both insured to drive both cars. I'm looking forward to the real test!!!

It's good to have a supra in your household that you can drive now and then... 
it makes you realise just how much you love your 300zx.

I actually quite like Supras, but I dunno if I'd have one after owning a 300 because they're kinda too much the same. Still, what I meant to say was: nice one Geoff... I think it'll be interesting to swap between them and see which on you end up feeling most comfortable in.

 

Are both your cars gonna make it to Billing?

Well we get the Supra next Friday 25th. I've tried to pursuade her to take the Supra as well. But she thinks it's a stupid waste of money to drive 2 cars there. So fool me, I've offered to pay the petrol!!!

Your supra is more than welcome on the supra stand at Billing if you wish to put it in with us lot :)

as with the BBS they get the first 10 minutes for free then have to pay membership dot dot dot

 

One of the traders has paid for the Supra area so all you need to pay is the £5 entry fee to Billing.

Nah! JB there wasnt any need to get your own area, the 300 guys are more than happy to have supras parked in with them!:D

PMSL!!

But 'first 10 posts' wouldnt have made much sense if they parked on our stand...it was a tongue in cheek poke at Mycroft as he doesnt seem to have read the membership rules on the BBS.
