Hi guys... and girls if there are any?

 

I need some help and thought it was about time I joined this site....

 

I am currently in-between 300zx's after an affair with a skyline, man she was dirty, and I'm looking to go back to a wholesome 300zx twinturbo manual.

 

My original H plate 1991 non-turbo in black was my favourite car to date (and I have had them all - preludes, skylines, supras etc).

 

To be honest I can't believe that 300's are now so cheap, they are way better than the current Jap stuff that is available - including the new 350Z - it's a pussy compared to the 300!! and also the new RX-8 ? mmm my non-turbo 300 was faster than that..!!

 

Anyway as you can see I'm up for joining this club and buying myself a proper motor... hopefully with someones help here?

 

I'm not the worlds most practical person and without help will probably end up with a pile of **** to drive..!!

 

I'm in between Guildford and Horsham (Surrey & West Sussex)

 

Is there any of you 300z nuts near me and could point me in the direction of a low mileage, twin turbo, manual, preferably with leather and not too ancient?

 

I would really appreciate any help and I'm more than happy to reward any good info with hard earned wonga.

He is selling a 2+2 Manual, but its an import. 1995. It looks in fantasitc condition. :D

 

In the long run getting a younger one will pay off.

 

I think he is looking for just under £9000, but I have seen ones that age going for £12,000 £13,000. If I had the money I would have bought it.

 

Its an option for you.

... Ill let you in to a secret, I nearly let go of 13K (the one on Autotrader site) for a 96N plate earlier today... I'm so glad I didn't ....complete rip off...!!!!

Have u thought about importing a vehicle from japan. Quite a few of the guys on the site have and most recommend newera imports. I bought from him and cant fault him at all. Consider the money ur spending ull get a fairly new 1 with low mileage and the full works.

 

Consider that as an option.

Welcome to the forum, Scoobydoo. For the money you're looking to spend, you should be able to get a really decent motor.

 

As has been said, try to get one from this forum, if you can. If nothing else, you can look through the seller's posts and see the problems they've had with the car, if any and know that it's been looked after by an enthusiast. :)

I think that may be an exaggeration!

 

I know a couple of people have used newera imports and have been happy. I think it's overstating the case to say that most people on here would recommend them though. :rolleyes:

sorry i meant the 1s that have used him would recommend him.

 

After all iv never heard any complaints about the guy from any1 who has used him.
