Hiya All

I bought a new Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop last week, its the dogs gonads the only thing is its running Windows 2000, and I hat it! I just can't get past all the administrator thing etc, is there a way to put on Windows ME which I am used too, if I can could somebody tell me how please! yet again I fail in computer knowledge, so over to you clever people.

BTW all the pics from Billing look great wish I could have been there, but some of us have to work on weekends in hot(120 F) kitchens all day on Sat and Sun (bollocks)

Never mind i'll try to get time next year biggrin.gif

Regards

JOHN

Try putting your password in as Administrator

See if that works. It is usually the default password. The only way to install Windows ME is to format the HDD (Hard Drive) and then install Windows ME from the CD.
