How do I change the drive letter of a Hard Drive in Windows 2000?

 

I knew how to do it in Win 95/98/ME and I think I did it in XP too, but I just cant find it in 2000.

There's a 'higher level' method too:

 

Load the "Computer Management" app from Administrative Tools in the Programs menu.

 

Click the "Disk Management" branch on the tree.

 

On the list of disks that (eventually) appears, right click the white area of the disk whose letter you want to change and pick "Change drive letter and path..." from the context menu.

 

You can't change the letter of your boot drive here, o' course.
