had my cats removed today, wow what a difference, i dont know about you lads but i aways thought my zed was lacking edge (tt)

now it feels like a cheeky school boy (not that i know what one feels like???) it has real low down punch and accelerates with wheel spin alot better. I have straight through to rear jap cans now. would defo recomend removing cats!!!

 

Mine has only done 39,000 so turbo seals should be okey for 20,000 hopefully........................................

I liked the difference removing the cats made.

 

When Dave and I have a little test of speed, he said he could tell my turbos spooled up quicker as after every gear change I caught up a little.

Yeah made a massive difference to mine as well. Especially in the upper speeds. Now sounds awesome as well with the Mongoose exhaust. Dont know about anyone else but I can hear my turbo's now as well with the roof off.:D :D

how much are these cat removal pipes?

How much for decat pipes? X-pipes or straight through?

I paid 120 squid for s/s straight pipes that go from the aivs, and cut the cat heat sensor wires (Dont join them together). you could have 2 small silencers in there but i wouldnt bother the turbos muffle alot of sound anyway. the car don arf feel smooth now and the cars real tail happy.
