Put my Zed up for sale on the sale forum and seems to be a differnece of opinion on its worth.

 

Can someone give me a valued price on my ZEd.

 

It is a 1989 (1990 spec) TT Targa Automatic, Jap import

 

unblemished black bodywork,

 

unmarked tweed interior,

 

Targa shades,

 

Usual spec plus electric folding mirrors and Sony 10cd changer

 

all standard including wheels,

 

full service history

 

105000kms

 

taxed till dec and mot till Jan 04.

 

Body work is immaculate with no rust at all.

 

I ned to know if it is worth selling as prices seem to be between £500 and £6000.

mine is a j spec 89 tt auto too in a similar condition, no sh but lower mileage, with leather cd and 18's and paid 4k for it, the problem u find now is that theres so many cheap imports coming in people just see the low figure and go for it, the good examples get ignored, its a real shame cos these are top motors that cost a fortune when new,

 

ive seen plenty g reg's on trader for as low as 3k true they might be ruff but people that buy them at that price tend to be boyracers that dont look after them, while theres boat loads of cheap imports being sent over the market wont rise till there rare enough to outway demand

 

its a sad state i know but its a buyers market at the moment

Advertise it at £5995 and see what happens

If after a while there are no takers drop it to £5495

Or something along those lines.

You could always try ebay or the autotrader mag.

We should do what other forums do - not let each other sell their cars for too little money - other forums do it apparently to hold their cars value ;) We might be able to collectively push the value of Z32s back up.... :)

Brilliant idea.

 

What i hate are dealers who say that there is no market for these cars and offer say £500. I will just walk out on any dealer who offered that kind of stupid money.

 

Be in all our interests to keep the prices of our cars up.

I agree, that car is worth 6K if its in that good a nic, all day long and dont you drop any lower.
