After purchase of my import zed me mate has passed me the original Nissan sales brochure for UK Zeds.

 

I am about to scan it in (cos he wants it back-hes a Capri 2.8 Driver) anyone interested in this ?

I had a Capri :D

 

It was one of the very last 3.0 S - spec models.

 

Dare I say it but it was bags of fun. Not unlike my Z in that it was a coupe, rear wheel drive, 4 seets, PLENTY of oversteer on demand and for the fun it gave me pretty good value too.

 

I know they have a terrible rep but not always deserved IMHO.

I will try a few different scans to keep file size down. jpeg. pdf. ?

 

Probably have it sorted by thursday will mail you a copy if the file size is'nt ower big.

Ah yeah, I gotta have a copy too! I don't mind admitting I had a 2.8i Capri - dropped to the floor, detrimmed and a total ass out grunt monster :) Not very quick, but a big heap of fun.

Which won have you got?

 

I've got one from '90 with a very stylish photo of a silver Zed on the cover.

 

If you have a different one I like to see it mate.

Last year at Billing, there was a guy selling brochures for all older cars. I bought a z32tt brochure from him for about £5. It is about 35 pages with a red z on the front.

Just picked up my first Zed TT - would love a copy of the brochure scan if poss. :)

Also owned four Capri's, two 1.6 models and two 2.8 injected ones :D excelent fun :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :dance: Also had an XR4i two door, smoother, but not as much fun.

 

Rear wheel drive action, you cant beat it :D, Oh, saying that a friend of mine brought a Mazda RX7 version three last month, two weeks later, on his way to work, lost it!! Going up-hill, on a bend, and apparentley, not going too fast, the back end swung out, and as he was correcting it hit the embankment on the other side, swung back and smashed into the embankment on his side :shock: The car cost him £8000, the estimate for the insurance cost him £8500, i think they wrote it off. He'd never had rear wheel drive before.

I am getting a bit worried about the FOR SALE sign that is about to appear in the garden and brochure's lying about for new house's !

 

Little note's with stuff about car's and sale !!!

 

Truth is I am stuck with three cars and 1 might have to go.
