High revs and oversteer

Driving the Zed today and came to a set of lights. While stopped, I heard something clunk and the revs shot up to 2K at rest. At the same time, (while driving away) noticed that the car had suddenly started to oversteer.

On the way home from the office just, the revs have returned to normal levels at rest but the rear end is still oversteering.

Is there any way these two could be connected or did I just get two failures at once? I have had the front tie rod bushes andrear shockers replaced but the car has always been a little sloppy.

Any help appreciated as I am VVV confused right now.:(

What state are your rear tyres in?

Have to picked up the rear of the car and given the rear wheel a shake?
