i go this morning to fit two new front tyres, and i notice that when i let of the gas and the car is still in gear and then accelerate again i get white smoke comming from the back, it only happens itemittently but f##$$k what do i have to do to get this car reliable, maan, now im not sure if i should chance JAE Tomorrow.

Sounds like this could be a mixture problem to me. Could be the BOVs if you have them and your Car is a Auto - Could be you are running a bit too rich after the Valve reopens ! Check the Pipe tails for rich black soot - if you find some (might not have accumulated much by now) that could be the problem. Even if it aint a Auto it could be a BOV set up problem (again if you have them which i think you do)

 

If it were coolant you should not just be gettin it at that point it time ! - i dont see a reason why that would be the case. It really has to be related to the opening and closing of the Intake Manifold.

 

If it is just a mixture problem should be fine to drive ....

thanks man i noticed as i started the car this afternoon, black rich smoke from the exhaust and my car is runnign rich right now as im using octane boost.

i feel a bit better now thanks see you tomorrow
