this morning and had a cruise from the Isle of Wight to work in Winchester. On leaving Portsmouth I had this middle aged dude come hammering up behind me in a P reg merc 500sl convertable. Pulled into middle lane and let the guy level off with me.....let the twin turbos kick in as he went to go past!...
Before they set in not much differance between the two... but..F##K ME...was he shocked to see me pull away from him with some ease. This is the only car I have had where you forget how much performance you have in reserve!. With the engine mods I made on this thing the power it has still surprises me even now. The guy looked rather sheepish when I let him past a few miles later!!. With the T-tops off what Zed cruising weather it is today...Sorry to rub it in for all you guys who have not got your cars back from the repair shop yet, but it will be well worth the wait.....
