just finished fitting my rear light clear lenses here is the before and after. i will post a pic this evening with them both done in the car. quite difficult to seperate the lenses but worth doing 100%.

The missus got some of these off of Ebay for her car.

Did you use a tech article somewhere for fitting instructions or the ones that came with it ?

i used the link that came in the box. just get them hot in the oven leave for about 5 mins and i used a puty knife. remember to undo the small philips screw in the back of the cluster. and be patient.:)

yep zdriver. in the states does them i bought them direct from him along with the sidemarker's he was on about a good discount if there were a few of you lot interested. i will enquire for you lot then you decide.;)

LOL the tips of my fingers are burnt and blistered from trying to seperate them lenses. whoever decided to put that black goo in there should be shot.

macca that was my backup plan if i broke my original ones changing them.

Not alot. Looking at my 99 spec there are a couple of thin lines across the lens that Lack300 won't have. Other than that you really need to see 'em lit up.

yep ZXdriver.com who i got them from. differences are the two black lines that go through them, and the 99 spec ones are also chromed internally but you will have to do the center reverse panel aswell to keep it looking correct should you opt for the 99 ones.

price diy is about £70 from zxdriver

for two rears orange lenses and red side bumper replacements. less than the cost of one light 99 spec panel.

 

reflector is on the outside of lense so stays the same MOT pass.......

 

i have had a virus on pc for the last couple of weeks but now sorted and should be about a bit more.......

I got one of these kits but ended up getting some cheapish second hand 99 specs before I fitted them. I'm selling the complete kit for £40 if anyone's interested... I'll post it up in For Sale.
