Any1 know of a decent london mechanic whos able to work on zeds. For minor jobs tamworth seems far so i need to find a good mechanic in the london area possibly north west. He has to be honest and not willing to add things on to the bill.

I got reccommended a bloke in Harrow by one of the members of this forum (Dave?) They are called R&D on 0208 427 8890 - speak to Richard. They are near Harrow & Wealdstone station.

 

I have used them a few times, the work is first class, the price is CHEAP!!!! and Richards a darn nice bloke who knows his shit.

Yes I do know a great ex Nissan mechanic who drives a Z who is round the corner from me (near Brent Cross). What I would say is he will not work on just anyones car. He will want to meet you and see your car first before he comits to any work. The other thing I would say upfront is he's not the fastest of guys but is thorough and takes pride in his work.

 

 

CJ, am I right in saying you've just bought Warrens car? If so, would it not be a good idea to take it to the same people he did as they will know the car and the work that's been done to it.

I'm the one that recommended R & D originally. He has worked on my four Zs and on my wife and kids cars and is a really good guy.
