I found local private to fill gas in for my air-con, but it doesn't work, the guys told me that my z's air-con haven't been used for a long period, but when I drive to 2000 or 3000 rpm, then the air-conditioning is working like normal, more rpm more cold air coming out, does anyone know what happend?

Thank you very much

all advise appreciated

Check that the nut on the front of the a/c pump hasn't fallen off.

If this is missing then the plate on the front of the pump will move and your a/c will only work intermittently.

Hope this helps.

Could it just be the belt slipping?

More RPM gets it turning more maybe.

has it been regassed??? could be just low on gas - what did they actually do?

could be faulty compresser.

I have got fully regassed already from the local private company, but the guy told me that there must be something wrong. I feel stranged that more RPM (put your foot down hardly) more cold or hot air coming out. And I did ask all my friends, they haven't got any clue about this.

So can someone please tell me what's going on to let me have a nice summer? as it is too hot in south of England when you drive in town.

If it had to be regassed like you say then it might have gotten close to seizing up when it was running dry. Higher RPMs might be providing enough wellie to get the parts moving?

The aircon system does have its own oil supply, doesn't it? (Going off dodgy memories of what was wrong with mine when I first bought the car) Maybe this needs checking out.
