i am so proud of you guys. i posted a few threads on the US website (http://www.300zxclub.com) asking for some advice about a US based company. anyway, some of the replies were just so rude and unhelpful. it was funny because a few of the moderators got involved and asked people to be a bit more constructive in the replies and even sent me private mail apologising.

 

i made the point of telling them that our forum was alot better. i mentioned that we too can be rude and take the piss but we do it on our general forum not on "help and advice". Apparnetly this is how they treat all forgniers and newbies. didn`t realise the yanks were such W@nks.

The most important thing to remember is that alot of those guys at that forum dont even drive a 300zx. I agree this is my fav forum you blokes are all right.

And by the way rc951 I think the lambo door kit would be cool If the price was right I would deff be interested.

No man not at all just hate seeing that kind of crap happening you and every one on this site should read what the head honcho said. And I for one am sorry that others from the same continent treated a fellow z owner in that manner, or any one for that matter. if you do find the lambo kit at a good price I would deff appreciate an e-mail.....cheers

Yeah I saw that m8 - the site is an excellent resource for tuning but they really are a bit far up their own back passage.

current price on the kit is about $1500. which is not too bad when converted into pounds. however i am waiting on another "U.S." company to let me know if it will fit on a Z. i`ll keep you updated.

I visit that site quite a lot and I think it's some of the people's hobby to flame/criticise other people's cars and ideas.

I'm glad (even for all our little foibles!) we tend to be a lot more positive on this forum ;)

rc951 - if you do go ahead with this I'd really love to see the results!! I think some of the cars that they have done it too look naff (eg the 3 Series BMW) but the silver Celica looks pretty good. I think Z's would look awesome.

trust me if i got it done i will be showing it off proviing it looked good!!!!!! i think the cars they have done dont really look like sports cars hence they look a bit NAFF. however, give the shape of the Z, especially with a bodykit it has the potential to look awesome. i will keep you updated. i just got an email from another company that does the fitting they told me to get back in touch with them in september as they will have a kit that fits the Z.
