Have had me rear shockers and front tie rod bushes done and the old thunder is handling much better now but I still think there is to much body roll, especially during rapid weight transfers, like coming off roundabouts, etc.

Reckon that one of Lukes poly bush sets would sort me out or should I be looking at ball joints first?

Any help appeciated.

Hi mate,

Sorry to barge in - I'm gonna order some rear shockers and have 'em fitted. What type did you get, and how much ££?

Thanks :)

Jeff fitted them for me at about £75.00 per side if memory serves.

A set of springs maybe? I have a set of progressive AVO's on mine, nice price too and pleased with them. I know MJP do springs that you can specify the drop and uprated percentage, don't think the're progressive though. My springs direct from AVO were about £130 IIRC.

I know what you mean about the weight transfer - must be the Zed's extra lard! Am in the process of having some Koni's fitted and thought I'd uprate the springs at the same time. However, was advised not to lower the car by a few specialists and couldn't locate any progressive springs that didn't lower the Zed. Advised to go for a anti-roll bar kit instead, so ended up getting a Stillen adjustable kit which should make cornering a bit more fun, without compromising ride quality. Polybushes also seem to be the way to, judging from some of the guys' experience on the forum. Don't exactly know prices but I think they're about 200 - 300 squids front and back plus of course, the fitting which isn't a small matter I've been told.

i can do the AVOs for a lot less as me mates mrs works in reception. just over half that money Quoted
