How much would you want for the 2 front tie bars and are the bushes likely to be OK?

What sort of mileage had they done?

Darron (Ancaster Nissan) had a quick look at the bits when I dismantled it and he didn't find any faults with the suspension.

I'm not technically minded though so could you tell me what these bits you're after look like. I can always get my mechanic round if you dont know. The car had done 60k.

Thanks

If you look in the Online Manual in the Tech section and select Front Axle and Suspension - Page 5

I think it's called the Tension Rod in the diagram but my garage called it the Tie Bar.

I only really need the rubber bushes off the ends but Nissan want £114.00 for each rod as the bushes aren't available on their own. £228.00 for 2 pieces of rubber!

My Z has done about 60000 too so it might be that your bushes are on their way out too anyway.

Mine packed up in time for the last MOT - about 42,000.

Try Luke at the Z Centre - he sells the uprated bushes that I think are made by Suspension Techniques.

Also available from Courtesy, Stillen and JWT.

Courtesy Nissan have them on the main 300ZX page. Didn't even have to search!

$49.00 seems pretty good but I'll call Luke first.

Thanks.
