Rear fog light in bumper brake light??

I will shortly be replacing my tailgate with the popular tailgate panel containing the 4 round light clusters.

 

I have opted for symetrical lights, which means I will 'lose' my after-market rear fog, which currently uses one of the rear lenses.

 

I will be retaining the standard bumper with integrated brake light and was wondering if anyone has used this lens as their rear fog??? And if so, was it a difficult task?

    If you are getting the 4 round lights then the contain a fog anyway...?

    I've opted for the twin brake lights and twin indicator/reverse lights as I think it looks imbalanced with one half reverse light and one half fog light.
