Zedworld in my experience provides an honest value for money service difficult to find in the current Zed market. Jeff is an excellent guy who would rather do you a favour than overcharge or present an incomplete job.

 

Reading the current speculations in general chat, I wonder whether Any Duff has chosen the right forum and I do feel he needs to make his point. Duffer is a great guy and the help he has offered to many Zed owners is beyond reproach. However, I am the owner of a small business and from experience I know there is nothing more damaging than implied accusations.

 

Just my two penneth and please do not persecute me for it. I would much rather help anyone than hinder them and right now I do feel an air of impending explosion on the general forum which is why I write here, in the effort to make a clear point. Incidentally, my cheque is on the way to Craig as I speak.

 

I do feel this old issue is going to raise its head once more so from the want to help and advise those Zed owners who have not yet been to Zedworld, I have had nothing but the best of service at all times. We are all allowed our opinion and this is mine.

I've had exceptional service every time from Jeff @ Zedworld, he's as friendly and honest as anyone I've met.

 

Keep up the good, and much appreciated work mate :)

I agree, top bloke!! I drove up from Portsmouth several months

ago, to get some work done, Jeff left me on my own in his workshop for around 15 mins while he popped back to his house for his laptop and Conzult. How trusting was that, me a complete

stranger......

 

He then sorted my overheating problem, was a mine full of info on

Zeds and charged me practically sod all for the work!!

 

And on the way home, travelling down the M40, when my rear trackrod snapped completely, he was on the end of the phone

with lots of advice and help (mind you what can you say when that happens)

 

I will return to Jeff when i have more Dollars to spend on her.

We read all this pro Jeff stuff, when there are plenty of people who do not trust him and think he is not value for money.

If you're gonna make a comment, good or bad, at least have some sort of fact behind it.....otherwise, and I don't mean to be blunt, but I would say stay out of it.

Jeff in my opinion is a top bloke who will do anything for anyone and nothing is too much trouble!

 

I used to take my old Z (now Keith S) to Jeff for various bits and bobs (even before he opened Zedworld) and always had value for money and a Jeff always does a great job.

 

Today I went over there with my new Z for him to give it the once over, it got the all clear on the Conzult and he adjusted a few things, spray some other stuff up and spent a good hour and a bit looking over my Z to make sure all was pukka and most of the stuff he did I never even asked him to do! we talked a bit about things and chewed the fat about Z's......

 

He never charged me for the work today, Nissan would have happily took the thick end of £200 for what Jeff did for nothing!!

 

I will be taking my Z there again when the need arises.

 

Andy Duff spent the whole day fitting my Zorst and only took £40 off me for it! he should have taken more and even supplied the bacon sarnies and cups of tea, top bloke!

 

Everyone keeps on about mistakes.....Nissan make mistakes, I make mistakes (ref: coolent dump!!) :D I bet Andy Duff (Mr. knowledge) has too, Jeff, Timmy T (he drives through hedges!), MAC1 (I doubt it though!) Wazza (Blows things up!), Nelson (take things out of his Z!), Dunk, Deano etc, etc, etc........

 

If you have actually been to Zedworld and used Jeff, you entitled to your opinion about Zedworld as you have been there and paid for services, if not you can only speculate.........

 

I for one have been to Zedworld, it's a good job at a good price.

 

I have been to Duffworld, it's a good job at a good price.

 

I have no problem with using either of them, and would recommend both of them to everyone but then it's all down to location and convienience......

 

There is room for everyone........even me!

I have had dealings with Jeff @ zedworld and it wasn't very pleasant but I really don't want to bring it up again - do a search (unfortunately most have been moved to storage).

 

I am trying to stay impartial but there are always two sides to every coin (and the truth) and its unfair for members to just hear one IMO.

 

As Matty says mistakes can happen and some of us are aware of what has happened in the past. Like you say lets keep it factual and no problems will arise.

I always go to Jeff @ ZedWorld because, like a few people here it seems, I think he's a top bloke. He's never done a bad job, or ripped me off, and he's done stuff for me at no charge (particularly when my Z failed it's MOT) that Nissan would have charged me plenty ££££ for.

 

I'm usually pretty quick to pick up if I think someone's giving me the runaround and wasting my time & money, but I've never had that feeling from Jeff. After I took my car in to my local Nissan dealer for a brake check, they quoted me nearly a grand for a job that 1) didn't need doing at all (as pointed out by Jeff) 2) Jeff can do (when needed) for just over 500 quid.

 

I've always been happy with prices, service, and attitude. That doesn't spell dodgy to me? (just my opinion).

I beg to differ...rational and irrational thoughts cloud our perception of time & space. The fight against entropy will always be lost by the individual but never won or lost by the species (human race) [excluding unlikely extinction]. The psychological arrow of time will always (in the larger population) over time average out to increase as the effects multiply over generations. However, we need to overcome our biological & psychological predilections and instincts to achieve a greater psychological future and that will not be easy !

funny how this is a public forum designed to help people out, yet your not entitled to listen to both sides of the story no matter what.

Duffs side - Jeffs side and the truth (hmm duff again? :D)

I think the problems that Andy or Emero have should be a private matter until they have spoken to Jeff and hear his answers .........its THEN that I think it should come onto here with what was said etc. And I think it is important we do know what was said.......seeing as we're involved in this now!

 

The amount of posts the subject has got already and NOTHING is any more known about it. Whats the point? We're wasting bandwidth. I know my own post has added to this but this will be my last on the subject!!

Agreed. Until the 3 / 4 / 5 parties involved have sorted it out and facts are known, it's nothing to do with us.

 

If / When details are known that puts one or more parties at fault, then they should be presented as a warning to others.

 

At the end of the day, we all love our cars and want to feel confident in them. Therefore we need to know who we can trust with a set of spanners and socket set other than ourselves. :)

look people i am new to all this ZX stuff but this forum as been the best thing. It has helped me so much with little niggly problems to major ones. The point is everyone has been helpful and that what this forum is for. I guess its ok to air an opinion but remeber everyone makes mistakes. It almost reminds me of school when your friends with someone and you werent allowed to be friends with another boy cause your friend didnt like him its all silly.

 

Andy Duff has given me great advice over certain issues and offered to to do things with my car with unresolved problem. jeff has been woken up by me at 2 in the morning because my car broke down.

 

lets just compliment the two for the great service they are providing rather then having a poll a poll to see who is best.
