stinking air con

Hi Guys

First post here and I appreciate the knowledge on this furom. I have recently bought a uk 94 300zxtt in pretty excellent condition apart from the fact that the previous owner smoked cigars inside the car with all the windows up and the aircon on. I have got a "wynns" aircon deoderiser from halfords and have to spray it into the aircon intake, which the instructions say are usually arround the footwell. Having spent ages upside down in the foot well I have given up on where the intake lives.

Can anyone help?

Cheers ........Ady

I checked the link and that gave me an idea of what to look for.

The intake can be accessed by opening the glove box and removeing the material cover behind it, then spraying the deoderiser into the intake as per instructions on the can.

This has had a 90% effect on reducing the smell so thanks for the help.

This site is well worth visiting.

Regards ............ady
