A big thanks to all you guys that have posted a message for me. I gave a few insuance companys a call and it turns out the TT is actualy CHEEPER to insure than the N/A!!! One company would'nt even insure a N/A!

 

So a TT it is! All I need to do now is find a nice humdinger of a motor driven by a 90 year old vicar with a heart condition and 6,000 miles on the clock!! Know of any??

If you get an import, make sure you tell the insurers so, even if it is a TT. Some insurers will insure your TT as the UK version and could cause you problems if you need to claim if you're driving an import and you haven't told them.

 

The people that insured me for my first year, told me at the end of the year that my insurance was invalid as I hadn't told them it was an import. I had though!
